We have had an awesome winter...I'm so thankful for the warm weather, and the sun. It is amazing how the weather can affect your mood.
Roark and I have tried to take advantage of the wonderful weather by going on little adventures...recently our adventure took us to the Lincoln Park Zoo. As you can see, he was so excited...
He woke up in the Lion House...I think it was the smell that caused him to wake. I truly wish I had my camera ready to take a picture of the face he made because it was priceless - but I was struggling to push the stroller through the door - which was a pretty funny sight, I'm sure.

The meerkats and giraffes really captured his interest. I'm lucky because a bird pooped on his diaper bag, I'm glad the bird didn't get my little peanut.
All in all, it was a wonderful time with the little man. Not to worry, I'm fully aware that he will not remember the excursion - but I will and I look forward to sharing these stories with him when he is older.
