Last week was the Chicago Marathon...there was a woman who ran who was, I believe, 37 weeks pregnant. Right after completing the marathon, she gave birth. I give her credit for inducing her labor - I'm 7 days away and running a marathon to get the Nugget to make it's grand entrance is not on my to do list.
Luckily, my pregnancy has been pretty good (knock on wood). I'm still able to bend over and tie my shoes, AND I can still see my toes. I've done some pretty crazy things while pregnant and maintained some sanity but to run a marathon 37 weeks pregnant? I ran the Shamrock Shuffle (an 8k) when I was about 13 weeks...but I took it easy.
Some other things I did during this pregnancy include:
- Studying for the CFP (I've taken 5 of 6 classes and have averaged a B+)
- Started a new job
- Moved my stuff out of the apartment so Erik could move in
- Got engaged
- Planned a wedding
- Got married
- Eventually had a baby
